Eugene Bagley, Sr., 73, of Waco, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006, in a Waco nursing facility. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott with the Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
Eugene was born in Rosebud, Texas, to the late Byrd Lee and Frankie Agnes (Marx) Bagley. He was a carpenter in the construction business and served six years in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, T.A. Bagley and B.L. Bagley; and a sister, Bertha Johnson.
He is survived by his sons, Eugene Bagley, Jr. and Danny Bagley, both of Waco; daughter, Debbie Cox, of Waco; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Mae Maxwell, of Cameron, and Margie Nix, of Waco; and special friend, Barbara Henson, of Waco.
