Curtis W. Shryer was born April 20 1899 in Collins, Missouri, and moved to Kansas City Kansas later in his life. He was the Fire Chief of Welborn Fire Department. He passed away on July 14 of 1972 at the age of 73. Services for Curtis Shryer were held Tuesday, July 18 at Warnick - Eads - Hilden Chapel. Rev. William C. Nichols was officiating. He was interred in Odd Fellows Cemetery - Later Named Bethel Cemetery.
