Teal Liliana Whitaker was born Jan 7 1986.She was a whopping 10 lbs 3 oz. Shortly after birth Teal had trouble breathing and was lifeflighted to Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft.Myers.The doctors did'nt know what was wrong with Teal it was something they had not seen before.We took her home from the hospital a month later uncertain of her future,She had several surgeries to put a shunt in and for her breathing issues.Teal began seizures at about 2 mths old.Teal went to the Miami Childrens Hospital in Oct 1986 where she was diagnosed with the very rare Aicardi Syndrome. Teal was an angel,a joy and touched the lives of all who met her in her short life.In March of 1987 she got very sick from pneumonia and her weak little body could'nt fight it.On the first day of Spring March 20 1987 Teal peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus with her Mommy and Daddy by her side.It rained for a full week after her death and I think it was the Heavens crying .She has never been forgotten.She is thought of everyday,she is the guardian angel for her sisters and brother.
