Married Frederick Councilman October of 1839.
They had nine children. Sydney Jefferson 1838, Ameda Julia, 1840, Eugene Frederick 1843, and Charlotte all born in Binghampton, Broome, NY. Edgar Dwight, 1848, Charles Phillip LeRoy (my 3rd Great Grandfather)1850, Betsey Alice 1853 born in Leyton, Cook, IL., and Amanda Ada and Hattie F born in Wilton, Clinton, Iowa. Aucilia was the daughter of Thomas Horton 1784-1855 and Charlotte Linsey 1788-1866 both of NY and probably died in Broome county NY. She was a housewife but she could read and write according to the 1870 census. Their farm was worth more than the ones around them and they had ample cash and very nice grave stones.
