Mr. Finney a lifelong resident of Baldwin County was a retired maintenance supervisor with J.P. Stevens. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae Giddens Finney, brothers Marshall Finney and Thomas Finney, sisters Lucile Polk and Francis Simmons. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Survivors include Pamela Nibblett Rogers (David) of Milledgeville, sisters-in-laws Evelyn Finney of Milledgeville and Christine Finney of Centerville, grandchildren Jennifer Rogers and Joshua Rogers both of Milledgeville and a great grandson Zachary Rogers.
