Jack W. Connely, passed away on June 4, 2006, after an extended illness. Jack was born in 1922, in Tulsa, Okla., and lived in Wink, Texas, until entering WWII in 1941.
A fighter pilot and a decorated veteran of the North African Campaign, he was discharged at WWII's end. He loved life and had too many activities and pleasures to list.
Jack is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lian (Ellie); sons, Brian of Casper, Wyo., and Mark of San Francisco, Calif.; daughter, Lisa Feurt of Casper; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. No flowers please, but a friendship prayer would be appreciated. Interment, memorial service, and wake will be announced at a later date.
