Funeral services for William Edward DeWeese, 68, were held Mar. 8, at Garnett Funeral Home in Keytesville. Mr. DeWeese died Mar. 5 at his home in Licking, Missouri. Burial was in the Powell Cemetery, northeast of Indian Grove.
Mr. DeWeese was born near Indian Grove, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Elbert DeWeese.
His wife and one son preceded him in death. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Parsons of Kansas City; one brother, George DeWeese of Licking, Missouri; and one sister, Mrs. Eunice DeRigne of Moberly.

FUNERAL MAR. 8 FOR WILLIAM E. DEWEESE, 68
William E. DeWeese, son of Elbert and Margaret DeWeese, was born Dec. 13, 1891 in Indian Grove, and passed away at the home of his brother, George DeWeese in Licking, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Lillian Price on Feb. 23, 1916. His wife and a son preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Parsons of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Eunice DeRigne of Moberly; a brother, George of the home; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild in Kansas City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Garnett Chapel in Keytesville. Burial was in the Powell Cemetery, two miles northeast of Indian Grove.
