Mrs. Abundis was a native of Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, Mexico, and lived in Tracy 51 years.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed growing flowers and providing hand-sewn clothing to poor children in Mexico.
She is survived by her husband, Salvador Abundis of Tracy; children, Salvador Abundis and Gabriela Ramirez, both of Stockton, James Abundis of Phoenix, Rocio Abundis-Rodriguez of Gilroy and Julia Serrato of Canoga Park; siblings, Estela Alvarez Alvarez, Bertha Alvarez Arce, Elvira Alvarez Izquierdo, Emma Alvarez Alvarez, Lorenzo Alvarez, Camilo Alvarez and Fidel Alvarez, all of Mexico, Abel Alvarez of Lynwood and Miguel Alvarez of Porterville; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Antonio Abundis; and four siblings.
Visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fry Memorial Chapel, with the rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Tracy Public Cemetery.
