Mrs. Ashfield was a native of Jones County and made her home in Milledgeville for 24 years. She worked with Vought Aircraft Industries for 25 years. She was a member of Haddock Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father Ernest Melton Davis.
Survivors include her husband Scott Ashfield of Milledgeville; a son, Todd Ashfield of Milledgeville; two daughters, Becky Brantley of Milledgeville and Lisa Reid of Gray; her mother Thelma Davis of Gray; three brothers, Johnnie Davis, Bob Davis and Mike Davis, all of Gray; two sisters, Dorothy Arnold of Milledgeville and Jan Davis of Gray; and three grandchildren, Robbie Bloodworth of Milledgeville, Jamie Reid and Jeremy Reid, both of Gray.
