Connie was born Aug. 19, 1965, in Denver, the youngest child of Robert and Rosa (Beckman) Lamb. She attended school in the Commerce City, Colo., area until age 15, at which time her mother remarried to Wayne Reynolds and the family moved to Broadwater. Connie then attended Bridgeport High School as a member of the class of 1983.
Connie was united in marriage to Dan Abel on Aug. 24, 1985, in Broadwater Park. While Dan worked for the Morrill County Roads Dept., Connie was employed in various positions in the area. At the time of her death she was an employee of The Dollar Store in Bayard. Her hobbies were crafts, houseplants, her pets and her friends. She was a garage sale addict.
Connie and Dan had two children, Cutter Abel, age 14 and Dakota Abel, age 9. She was an enthusiastic fan of all her children's sports and school activities.
In addition to Dan, Cutter and Dakota, she is survived by her mother Rosa Reynolds and Gary Nunn of Bridgeport; her brother Harlan Lamb and Judy Richardson of Bridgeport; her aunt Glenna and Ernest Cummings of Weldona, Colo.; and various cousins. Many friends, very special ones being Ruth Brown and her husband and children of Northport, also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; two uncles and a cousin.
She will be missed and remembered in various ways by many. She knew no stranger.
