My Great Grandma Oletzke was a very, hard working stay at home mom of my Grandpa Luvern. She then took care of my mom, aunt, and uncles after school or when they were home sick from school. Mom always tells me about stories of Gr. Grandma taking such good care of her when she was sick. I remember a little about her but mostly the time she picked apples off our tree and made apple pie. It was the best apple pie I ever ate. When I was 9 she died on April Fool's. The sad thing is, I actually thought it was a joke until my parents took me to her funeral. I was devastated. She also out lived both her husband and only child (my grandpa). I will always miss the way she use to smile at me and the way she use to mispronounce my name :-)
