Ellen Bethel
CORNELIUS, Ore. --- Ellen Bethel, 91, of 738 North Adair, formerly of Warwick, died Christmas Day at a local nursing home. She was the widow of of Andrew L. Bethel and Frederick Knight.
She was born in Providence, a daugher of the late James and Alice Ashworth.
Mrs. Bethel was a former member of Woodbury Union Church, Presbyterian, and the Woodbury Women's Organization. She was a life member of William Shields American Legion Post No. 43 Auxiliary.
She leaves a daughter, Miriam Sheldon, with whom she lived; a son Irving Knight of Warwick; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Saturdayin the Firlawn Cemetery, Hillsboro.
