Eliza Shelton was the daughter of Daniel & Mary Shelton. She married Jacob Ball on November 15, 1823 in Owen Co, KY.

Their children:

•1. James Ball born March 21, 1826 and died September 27, 1887.

•2. Henry H. Ball born April 10, 1830 and died May 24, 1870. He married Susan Morgan on January 6, 1851.

•3. Margaret Ball born April 21, 1832 and died March 21, 1873. She married F. M. McCoy.

•4. Mary Ball born about 1833.

•5. Mildred Ball born about 1835.

•6. Rutha Ball born about 1837.

•7. Jacob Ball born March 16, 1839. He married Elizabeth Ford.

•8. Daniel Ball born April 14, 1841 and died January 9, 1887.

•9. Samuel Ball born June 15, 1843 and died October 10, 1861. He married Martha Jane Ford.
