DIES IN DENVER
Willis Ira Bush, 50, a native of Greeley, was found dead in bed
Tuesday morning at his home, 1806 East 28th Ave., Denver.
Death was due to natural causes.
Born Jan. 18, 1909, in Greeley, Bush was reared here and was
married May 6, 1938 in Denver to Cordella Jean Berkey.
He was in the army during World War II, with duty in the southwest Pacific. He served from Dec. 19, 1942 until receiving a medical discharge in 1944,
Bush live in California until 1949 when he returned to Greeley. He
moved to Denver in 1951 and for about eight years, was employed
as a steel inspector for the Thompson Pipe and Steel company in
Denver.
Surviving are his wife; one step-child, Harold Thurow of Ault; his
mother, Mrs. Cynthia Mae Werling of Greeley; and a sister, Mrs. Marvin (Ruth) Richards of Greeley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday from the Adamson
Memorial chapel. A military interment at the Evans cemetery will be
conducted by Pioneer Post 2121.Veterans of Foreign Wars.
