Lois B. Allison, 75, of Beech Grove, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital, in Beech Grove.

Born Dec. 8, 1928, in Osceola, Neb., she was the daughter of William E. and Hilma Julia (Nelson) Pierson. she married Donald E. Allison on Oct. 18, 1953, and he survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Julie (husband, Mark) Richart of Beech Grove; two grandchildren, Allison Richart and Aaron Richart.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wallace E. Pierson, Byron Pierson and Clinton R. Pierson; and one sister, Lee Attelson.

Mrs. Allison was a Shelbyville resident most of her life.

She was a homemaker. She previously was employed with Internal Revenue Service for 10 years, during the 1950s.

Mrs. Allison graduated in 1948 from Shelbyville High School.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Major Hospital Guild.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home, 819 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.

Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
