She lived in the Springfield-Nixa area all of her life and at the time of her passing she was a faithful member of North Nixa Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and good friend. She enjoyed gardening, singing, sewing, scrap booking and fishing. She always had a very special love of Southern Gospel music and songs about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was a blessing to everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Barney E. Munhollon, of Nixa; her children, Susie and husband, Gary Scott, of Springfield, Barney Leon Munhollon and wife, Kay, of Nixa; one sister, Stella Williams of Mississippi; one granddaughter, Angela Munhollon and companion, Todd Hill, of Indiana; four grandsons, Barney Lee Munhollon and wife, Lori, of Nixa, Jon Teague of Nixa, Nathan Teague and companion, Julie Graham, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Chris Teague of Springfield; three great-grandchildren, Alea Applegate of Webb City, Alicia and Laura Munhollon of Nixa; and numerous other extended family members.
