Mary Lou Hamilton, Fox, Rogers, age 67, of Joplin, Mo., passed away at the home of her daughter on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.
Mary was born Jan. 24, 1939, to Thomas and Sarah Hamilton in Webb City, Mo.
Mary was a medical assistant for Dr. Adams and Dr. McLaughlin and also an LPN for Spring River Christian Village.
She volunteered at the Joplin Public Library in the Genealogy Department.
She married Robert A. Rogers on Aug. 5, 1985, at Miami, Okla. He survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Jerry Fox, of Winnie, Texas, and Larry Fox, of Joplin; one daughter, Sherry Case, of Webb City; one brother; Robert Hamilton and his wife, Judy, of Springfield; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Chaplain Danny Mullins will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Case, Trenton Fox, Tommy Hamilton, Dennis Hamilton, Scott Hamilton and Doug Rogers.
Visitation was held Thursday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel.
Contributions may be given to the ALS Association or Community Hospice in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel.
