Lucille Baker, 76, of Kennett, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at her residence. Born March 5, 1927, in Kennett, daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Stella Palmer Wilburn, she was a civil service examiner and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett.

On Nov. 7, 1947, she married Bryan Baker, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, David Bryan Baker, of Long Beach, Miss. and Robert Bruce Baker, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Brenda Jane Usrey, of Memphis, Tenn. and Rebecca Lynn Keys, of Holcomb, Mo.; one brother, James B. Wilburn, of Table Rock, Mo.; one sister, Leona Shipman, of Starke, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Truman Wilburn and three sisters, Alma Daughtery, Ruth Frost and Goldie Capps.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Carroll McGruder officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Pallbearers were David and Randy Keys, Chris Baker, Bryan Usrey, Ryan Fisher and Mark Garner.
