Obituary:
Staunton, IL, Nov 27-Mrs. Verna Farris, 38, wife of Robert B Farris of near Bunker Hill,died at 3:15 P.M. yesterday in Litchfield Hospital. She had been ill for several months. Funeral services will be at 12:45 o'clock on Thursday at the residence followed by services at the Huntman Funeral Home here at 2 P.M. Rev. C.F. Miller of the Bunker Hill M.E. Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Mrs. Farris was born in Crawfordville, Ind., coming to Bunker Hill when young. She was married on Aug. 18, 1924. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, John Robert Farris, her mother, Mrs. Katherine Cornelius, Indianapolis, Ind, and two sisters.


Her first husband was: Lloyd E Crouch who died in 1918 in Iowa. He is buried in the New Ross Cemetery, Montgomery County, Indiana.
