Miss Audrey Kay Lingold, 18, of Rte. 1, Milledgeville died Monday in a local hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Friday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol the accident occurred when Miss Lingold lost control of her automobile and slid broadside into the front of a second vehicle. The accident happened about 4:20 p.m. on Colony Farm Road in Baldwin County.
Funeral services for Miss Lingold will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in Oak Grove Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Miss Lingold was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County and an employee of J. P. Stevens Co. in Milledgeville.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clemon Leo Lingold of Milledgeville; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, Miss Sheila Lingold, Miss Martha Lingold and Miss Angela Lingold all of Milledgeville.
