Rome - Mrs. Viola B. Moores, 87, of 1103 N. George Street, widow of Howard Moores, died Satuday in Rome City Hospital.

She was born in Rome, daughter of Alfred and Florence Wheeler Boulant. She attended Rome schools. She was married to Mr. Moores in 1924. He died in 1933.

She was a Protestant. She was past president of Rome Post VFW Auxiliary.

She leaves two sons, Robert J. Moores, and Howard J. Boulant, and a sister, Mrs. Dennis Coleman, all of Rome.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Strong Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rathbunville cemetery, Verona Mills.
