Funeral rites for Leroy Colburn 69, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel, Lincoln, Arkansas.
Mr. Colburn died Monday morning at his fam home near Westville.
He was born July 1, 1888 at Booneville, Arkansas, was united in marriage to Nellie Langley, July 7, 1910, to this union was born three daughters, one daughter having proceeding him in death.
He lived in the state of Arkansas, until 1945 when he moved to the farm near Westville, Oklahoma.
Survivors are; his wife, Nellie of the home; two daughters, Ellen Walsh of Santa Cruz, California; and Viola Oxford of Sacramento, California; one brother, Paris Colburn of Cane Hill, Arkansas; one sister, Lizzie Payne of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Brother C.E. McCormick of Stilwell, Oklahoma, pastor of Old Baptist Mission church will officiate and help with the sing of two favorite songs of Mr. Colburn's, (Father Along) and (Shake Hands with Mother Again.)
Chosen pallbearers are, Clyde Rather, Clarence Parks, J.R. Kirk, Kenneth Lockhart, Fred Jones, and Valley Smith.
The body will be laid to rest in the Bethesda cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas, with Luginbuel in charge.
