Luella G. (Gail) House, 86, of Waterford, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006.

Born Dec. 20, 1919 in Hymera, she was the daughter of Earl and Lue (Johnson) Pullis. On May 21, 1938, she married Hubert L. House, who passed away Nov. 11, 1995.

She retired from Grissom AFB as a Civil Service employee after 24 years. She was a member of the Walton Christian Church and the Eastern Stars of Jasonville. Her favorite pastime was quilt making, she presented all her nieces and nephews with a handmade quilt at her 85th birthday party.

Survivors include: her sister Martha Ann Durso; her brother Marvin Pullis and his wife Florence; sister-in-law Pat Pullis; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hubert, a son Stephen House, and a brother Marion Pullis.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Rd., Waterford.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at K of P Cemetery in Hymera.
