Wendell Dean Meharg infant son of Mr. and Mrs Ray Meharg was born in Russell County, Kansas Nov 7, 1938 and passed away July 22, 1940, age 1 yr, 8 mo, 15 days. Wendell while at play wandered to the stock tank and fell in. His mother found him there a few moments later. After administering first aid, he was rushed to the Atkins Hospital at Hoisington were all efforts to restore his lile were in vain. Wendell will be sadly missed by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Meharg; his brothers Walter Lee, Gene Edward, Glen Ray; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Meharg and Mrs. Clara Ross
