LEO WILMON JEFFERSON
June 1, 1923 ~ October 11, 1989

Leo Wilmon Jefferson, 66, Broken Bow, died Wednesday at Talihina Veterand Center.

Born June 1, 1923 in Golden, he was a member of the Goodland United Methodist Church and a World War II veteran who had been employed a number of years at the Talihina Indian Hospital.

He and Clara Ruth Noah were wed Jan. 2, 1948 in Broken Bow.

Surviving are his wife, Clara, of the home; eight sons, Leo B. of Broken Bow, Donald Timothy, Samuel and Madison, all of Perry, Joseph of Durant, David and James of Broken Bow; two daughters, Reba Pope of McAlester, Jacqueline Wesley, Broken Bow; one brother, Norman Jefferson of Talihina; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Goodland Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bertram Bobb and the Rev. William Baker officiating.

Burial will be in the Goodland Cemetery in the Holly Creek community.

Leo Wilmon Jefferson, 66, Broken Bow, died Wednesday at Talihina Veterand Center.
