Admitted Oct 24 1862 Chimborazo Hospital #4 (Richmond, Va) with "wound of abdomen (?unreadable) and thigh. Medical furlough Nov 12,17,19 (?unreadable), 1862.
Sergeant Bond was killed in action Battle of The Wilderness, Spotsylvania County,Va. on May 6,1864. Burial is unknown.
