Mrs. Dorothy I. Hoover Back born in New Castle on July 13,1910, to the late Ephraim G. and Grace Lang Hoover. She was retired from the Universal Rundle Corp. where she was a nurse for 20 years. She was formerly on the staff of the maternity department of the Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Back was a member of Clen-Moore United Presbyterian Church; a graduate of the Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1932; a member of the Pennsylvania Nurses' Association and the Wimodausis Culb of New Castle.
She is survived by her husband Emery W Back, whom she married on Sept. 26, 1936, two sons, Robert John of Spring, Texas, and Dr. William Russell Back of Warren Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Katherine) Kneram of Harlansburg, Mrs. Howard (Eloise) Bentel of Ellwood City, and Mrs Charles (Ardell) Williams of Largo, Fla.; a brother Clarence F. Hoover of Madison, Tenn., and five grandchildren.
