An illness of several years proved fatal Monday night to Mrs. Minnie Beisse, 60, at her home at 656 Twenty Third, Longview. Born in Niles City, Ill., July 2, 1882, she had been a resident of Longview since 1927, coming from Hermiston, Ore. She is survived by a son, George Beisse, 647 Twenty Forth. Longview; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Viecke, Chicago; a grandson, George Frederick Beisse; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Suckow, and a brother, Henry Woliers, both of Chicago. Funeral services will be held in the Steele chapel Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. E. H. Gebert officiating, and burial will be in Longview Memorial Park. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Community Church.

(Wolters) Beisse, aged 60 years, 9 months and 3 days, of 656th 23rd Ave., Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington, died at 9:05 p.m. on Monday at her residence after almost a year of fading health. Mrs. Beisse who was a homemaker, was born July the 2nd 1882 in Niles Center, Cook County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Chas. Wolters & Caroline Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral arrangements were in the care of funeral director C. M. Petters of the Steele Funeral Home in Longview. Burial was made on Sunday April the 18th 1943 in Longview Memorial Park, in Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington. Information was provided by George Beisse of 647 24th Street, Longview, Washington.
