Paul H. Derbonne, Jr.

Paul H. Derbonne, Jr., 40, of Shreveport, formerly of Natchitoches, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the Church of Immaculate Conception with the Rev. Harry Barker officiating. Interment was in the Fern Park Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Mr. Derbonne, a native of Natchitoches, was a resident of Shreveport for 13 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the Saint Catherine Catholic Church in Shreveport. He was employed by International Paper Co.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janie Ebey Derbonne, and one daughter, Jamie Lee Derbonne, both of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Jean Douglas of Sour Lake, Tx.; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul H. Derbonne, Sr. of Natchitoches.

Pallbearers for the service were Roger Haydel, Larry Brossett, Dain Wirt, Howard Niette, Michael Niette and Johnny Antoon.
