Funeral services for Mrs. Loraine Freeland Bell, age 88, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bell, a retired waitress, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014. Mrs. Bell is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Freeland, Indie Freeland, Corrine Freeland; and five siblings, Virte Sue Freeland, Berkly Freeland, Novie Hightower, Louise White and Carl Forest.
Mrs. Bell is survived by two sons, Clint Jones and Connie of Wartburg, TN, Freddie Jones and wife Shirley of Winnsboro, LA; two sisters, Ruth Jenkins of Bastrop, LA, Blanche Dement of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, Melinda Clingen and husband Kerry, Clinton G. Jones, III and wife Katrina, Dee Swain and husband Jeff, Frederick Jones, Amy Bumgarden and husband Frank, Jason Britt; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Swain, Clinton G. Jones, III, Donald Harris, Ron Stanley, Kerry Clingen, and Clint Jones.
