Villa married Joseph L. Chase, the seventh child born to J. Elijah Chase and his second wife, Elizabeth A. Sprague. Villa and Joseph celebrated their nuptials on September 6, 1894 in Pocahontas County, Iowa. They had a daughter born in Havelock, Iowa. Then they moved to Minnesota and had two sons. After which Villa and Joseph took their family to Skagit County in Washington state.
