Earlene Bedell Foster November 8, 1944- June 26, 2005 COLUMBUS, GA— Earlene Bedell Foster , 60 of 6516 Forrest Road, Columbus, GA, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Columbus 6804 Forrest Road, Columbus with Reverend Benny F. Richardson, Jr., Pastor of A Cry For Salvation Outreach Ministry officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, according to People's Funeral Service of Columbus, Inc., 1604 Talbotton Road. The processional will depart the residence at 2:30 p.m. Friday Mrs. Foster was born November 8, 1944 in Muscogee County, Ga., daughter of the late Charlie and Ella Jane Howard Bedell. She was a homemaker, attended Carver High School, avid fisherman and caretaker for many. Left to cherish her memories include two sons, James Curtis Carter and Arthur Curtis Carter both of Columbus; three daughters, Elaine Carter of Boston, MA, Earnestine Carter and Glenda Carter of Columbus; six brothers, Charlie (Zelma) Bedell, Jr., of Phenix City, Willie (Betty) Bedell of Rantaul, IL, Howard (Eliza) Bedell of Harlem, GA, Levi (Mary) Bedell, Sr., of Augusta, GA, John (Annie) Bedell of Columbus and Daniel Bedell of Albany, GA; four sisters, Jeanette Ware of Columbus, Geraldine Fowler of Columbus, Nancy (Joseph, Jr.) Traylor of St. Charles, MO and Flora McBride of Columbus; six grandchildren; a dear companion Edward Watkins, Sr.; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
