A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Patricia "Pat" Folks, 60, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at 10:00AM at St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon as Celebrant.

Interment services in St. Anne Cemetery.

Mrs. Folks passed away suddenly at her home in Youngsville, LA on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.

She loved baking, cooking, decorating and dearly loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Kermit Folks; sons, Stoney Paul Ross and Stephen Douglas Guidry; six sisters and one brother, Lilly Sonnier (Loyton), Betty Mouton, Barbara LeBlanc (Milton), Rusty Taylor (Joe), Audrey Romero (Joe), Darrell Guidry (Karen) and Jackie Ortiz (Luis); three grandchildren, Chloe Guidry, Stoney P. Ross, Jr.,Dannon Alin and three sisters’-in –law, Lee Taylor (Earl), Jeri Cortez (Joe) and Norma Pascual (Raymond).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Jeanne’ Dejean Guidry; sister, Shirley McBride and brother-in-law, Donald Mouton.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Guidry, Dannon Alin, Stoney Ross, Shane Clark, Earl Taylor and Joe Cortez. Honorary pallbearers will be Luis Ortiz, David Clarence Marler, II and Stephen Douglas Guidry.

David Funeral Home of Youngsville, LA. is in charge of all of the arrangements.
