BOONEVILLE - Irene Lester Hare, 90, of Booneville passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at the Booneville Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was the sole surviving member of three local families. She had been an active member of East Booneville Baptist Church prior to moving into the Landmark Assisted Living Facility six years ago. She began a working career at Blue Bell Manufacturing at the age of 17. She was the daughter of W.H. and Mary Felker Lester and is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings and their spouses, Bruce and Avery Lester, Lucille and Cecil Price, Rex and Dorothy Lester; one niece, Cecelia Tollison; one nephew, Freddie Lester; her first husband, Frank Houser Windham, and his siblings and their spouses, Ek and Sadie Windham, Honnell and Ecter Windham, Vivian and Clovis Cunningham; her second husband, Hubert Cecil Hare, and his siblings and their spouses, Alan and Ural Hare, Velma and Jimmy Hester, Ophelia and Joe Fugitt, Garvis and Alan Crabb, and Linda Hare.
Her daughter is grateful to everyone who exhibited love and care, the wonderful staff at the Landmark, Dr. Chase and staff, and a special thanks to Dr. Dennis for his caring help.
