Aberdeen - Clara M. Anderson, 101, Aberdeen, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at ManorCare Health Services in Aberdeen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St. Private family burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Clara M. Olson was born March 23, 1903 to Charles and Klementhine Olson in rural Warner, S.D., where she was raised and attended school. The family moved to a farm southeast of Aberdeen in Gem Township in 1940. There she farmed with her brother, Roy. She married Lee Harold Anderson in 1943. They were married for 61 years. They continued to farm until they retired. Lee died on Sept. 7, 2004. Clara continued to live on the farm until the spring of 2004 and then moved to ManorCare Health Services. Clara loved farming. She thoroughly enjoyed her animals and all the farm work. Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Leonard Anderson and Gerard Anderson both of Aberdeen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
