Thelton (Sonny), died Nov. 5, 1983 in Albuquerque NM, born Nov. 18, 1920 in Waurika OK. Graduated from Waurika High School in 1939, and from Okla. University, played on the OU football team 1940-42. Worked for Squibb Pharmaceutical Company. Was a retired Colonel in the U.S. Marines. Survived by 1 daughter, Crystal Wright of Denver CO; 2 sisters, Lottie Parks of Wichita Falls TX, Audrey Dunlap of Comanche OK. Preceded in death by his son, Craig. Rosary 8 pm Tuesday evening, and funeral services with full military honors Wednesday, 10 am, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Albuquerque. Burial in Santa Fe NM National Cemetery.
