Anita M. HockmuthLaube, 49, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Mercy Health System after a short illness. She was born on Feb. 9, 1956, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Henry and Delores (Marden) Hockmuth. Anita married Mark Laube on Dec. 1, 1979, in Brodhead. She graduated from Brodhead High School in 1974 and from Saulk Valley College of Nursing. Anita worked at Rock County Health Care Center as an LPN for 26 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Brodhead. Anita enjoyed gardening, stained glass and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Mark; 3 children: Jessica (Tim) Moe, William Laube and Jonathan Laube; his mother, Delores Hockmuth; his mother-in-law, Granada Laube; all of Brodhead; 2 sisters, Mona Taylor of Janesville and Pamela Henderson of Corcoran, CA; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
