Mrs. Kindley attended Frankfort High School and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and a member of the DAR and VFW and Eagles Auxiliaries.
Mrs. Kindley was born October 23, 1923, to Clarence and Mary Townsend MIller. She married Leo Dale Barkley in 1941, and he died in 1966. She married Don Kindley in 1968, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dale Barkley of Darlington and Wayne L. Kindley of Frankfort; a daughter, Diane E. Kindley Ross of Frankfort; a step-daughter, Yvonne "Sam" Fetz of Frankfort; a step-son, William "Bill" Kindley of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
One son, one daughter and one brother preceded her in death.
Services were December 7, 2001 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Tom Metzger officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.
