ANDALE - Ferris, Kitty Lorraine, 45, also known as Kitty Lorraine Perris Conley, died December 9, 2005 at Wichita. She was born October 17, 1960 at Guthrie, Ok, the daughter of Gary R. and Kay A. Strong Ferris.
She attended Hutchinson High School and graduated from Oklahoma City South High School. She attended Oklahoma City Central College. She worked in the offices for Kansas Truck Center, Wichita. Kitty was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, wife, devoted grandmother, and best friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her father, Gary, Tulsa, Ok, her mother, Kay Deal, Hutchinson, two sons, Donald E. Conley, III and wife Dennene, Galveston, TX and Tyler Flickinger, Wichita, one daughter, Jennifer Swift and husband Bryan, Bentley, two grandsons, Jackson Swift and Donald E. Conley, IV; 8 brothers, John R. Ferris, Fort Collins, CO, Charles Barnes, San Antonio, TX, David Barnes, Destin, FL, Tim Barnes, Hutchinson, Vince Barnes, Murdock, NE, Ed Mahnke, Raytown, MO, Robert Ferris, Guthrie, OK, Gary Ferris, Jr, California, and 5 sisters, Nancy K. Barnes, St. Augustine, FL, Kylie Laplante, Hutchinson, Karla Tudor, Mossy Head, FL, Teresa Gibson, Crescent, OK, Sherry Elliott, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Conley, Jr, killed in an automobile accident in 1982 in California, Gordon Flickinger, and a step-father, Dwight Barnes.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kendall Franklin presiding. Burial will follow at Lonestar Cemetery, Pretty Prairie. Visitation will be held from 4-9pm Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
