She was born April 2, 1925, in McKeesport, and was preceded in death by her father, Edward Edison; stepfather, Theodore Race; mother, Bertha Hall Race; husband, Joseph H. Aigner; and sister, Helen Clemens.
She was a retired teacher's aide for the McKeesport Area School District and was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701 Ladies Auxiliary and the McKeesport Amvets Post 8.
She is survived by sons, Joseph A. (Carol) Aigner, of Ruffsdale, and Richard (Suzanne) Kirk, of McKeesport; daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Skalka, of North Huntingdon; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Theodore Race, of North Huntingdon; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., Fawcett Avenue, McKeesport. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Huntingdon.
