Barbara A. (Price) Perryman, 71, of Lecanto, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center.
A native of Orlando, she was born to Frank and Betty (Elliott) Harvey on Feb. 19, 1943. Barbara spent most of her adult life in Deland, retiring from DCF after 30 years of service. She married Jerry Perryman in 1999 and moved to Lecanto. Mrs. Perryman enjoyed working her flower gardens, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, and also collecting John Deere tractors with her husband Jerry. Mrs. Perryman also enjoyed travelling with Jerry and their friends to tractor shows and camping.
In addition to her husband of 15 years, Jerry Perryman of Lecanto, Barbara is survived by her six children, Carl Price and Gene Price (wife Barbara), both of Orlando; Lucretia Cowart (Jerry), Deland; Jody Perryman (Lynne), Auburndale; Toy Buddenbohm (John) and Kelly Mitcheson (Jim), both of Lecanto, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Ward Price.
