MRS. ALMEDA REBECCA BLUBAUGH, 56, of Waynesboro R.D. 1, wife of Irvin A. Blubaugh, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health since July 3, 1964 and was critically ill the past five weeks. She was admitted to the hospital November 3.
She was born on Waynesboro R. D. 1, a daughter of the late Cyrus and Hattie Switzer Moats.
All of her life was lived in the Waynesboro R. D. 1 area. She was a member of the Blue Rock UB Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four children: Mrs. Boyd French, Harold Anthony Blubaugh, Mrs. Clarence Sanders and Cyrus Irvin Blubaugh, all of Waynesboro; 19 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Virgil Kline, Waynesboro R. D. 3 and Mrs. Garnet Mentzer, Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Blue Rock UB Church in charge of the Rev. Leroy Perry and the Rev. Lester Misner. Burial will be in the Quincy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church Wednesday prior to the service.
