Adelene (sic) Myers, 86, of Newport died Sunday, June 26, 2005 in Harrisburg Hospital.
     She was born Jan 17, 1919 in Eschol (sic-Eshcol) to the late Haynes and Esther (Burkepile) Roush.
     She was retired from the Pennsylvania Dept of Motor Vehicles and she enjoyed reading.
     She was the widow of the late William P. "Beaner" Myers.
     Surviving are four sons, Donald W of North Branch Mich, Ronnie L of Carlisle, John B of Newport and Thomas H of Harrisburg; two daughters, Patsy A Baker of Newport and Nancy Holley of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
     She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Holley; a brother, Gerald Roush; and three sisters, Mary G Clement, Mildred Horting and Pauline Stahl.
     Services were held July 29 (sic-June) in Newport First Church of God with the Rev Cheryl Dorman officiating.  Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport.
     David M Myers Funeral Home, Newport,handled the arrangements.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Newport Ambulance League, S Third St, Newport 17074 or Newport Fire Company, 301 Mulberry St, Newport 17074.
