Bethany was born around 1810 - 1811 or so. She was born in Georgia, although we do not know the town or county. She married Joseph Taylor from North Carolina on May 21, 1826 in Jasper County, Georgia.

I have attached the following census records in hopes that someone can help me find where her and Joseph Taylor are buried. They were last on census records in 1860 and 1870 in Lafayette County, Mississippi.

1860 census for Mississipi was the last census record I could find Cinery who is probably Bethany. Last time I see Joseph is in 1870 census for Lafayette, Mississipi with some of his children.

I believe these names to be James = Joseph. When you look at the census record closely, it looks like Joseph, or he could have been Joseph James? Augustine is probably Margaret Augustine and and VC is probably Penelope. If you look at the 1850 census below, you will see that Margarett has a middle initial of A. Penelope has a middle initial of C, so the V C in the 1870 census may have been mistakenly written VC instead of PC??? JJ is Joseph Josiah Taylor who would have been 22 years at the time.
