Judith was the daughter of George III and Naomi (Smith) Hand. She married Anthony Cresse in 1797. Their children were Jeremiah 1795(m. Eliza Stites) buried at First Baptist Cemetery, David 1800-1849(m. Marie T. Leaming) Cold Springs, Patience 1803, Anthony II 1811-1857 Cold Spring ("Cape May Ocean Wave, March 26, 1857. On the 19th insta., Anthony Cresse, near Cape Island, in the forty seventh year of his life died."), Uriah Hand 1806-1870(m. Mary Buck) Cold Spring, Hannah 1808, Judith 1809, Jackeliah 1811, Benjamin 1813, and Enoch in 1814(m. Hannah Leaming) Cold Spring. Judith died in 1870 a the age of 89. She is buried next to her husband close to the church on the south side.
