OBITUARY :
ELSIE MARIE WASSON, 66, 112 Green St., Funkstown, died at her home at 5 p.m. Thursday of complications from an illness of a year.
Born and reared in Funkstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Cora (Kendle) Wakenight.
She is survived by one son, Richard, Funkstown; one daughter, Mrs. Henry McCall, Hagerstown; one brother, Leonard F. Wakenight, Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. Frances Witmer, Hagerstown, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at A. K. Coffman Funeral Home, the Rev. George Whetstone officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
