Clara Janette Lindsley was born to Whiting Smith Lindsley and Sarah Maria Baldwin. Her father's name on her death certificate as "John" is not correct. Clara was only about 6 when her father died in the Civil War in 1864. Her first marriage was to John Henry Ault 17 December 1877. Her marriage to Stillman Frost was August 6, 1884 in Fond du Lac, WI.
