Clinton is the son of Dr. Leonard Chase M.D. & Eliza (Walker) Chase. He has one sibling, Dr. Barton Walker Chase M.D. Clinton graduated from Dartmouth in 1852 and received his M.D. degree in 1855. He practiced medicine a few years. Then engaged in the Drug business in Eau Claire, Wisconsin & in Detroit, Michigan until 1879. After that time he devoted his time to making investments in Real Estate. He married Harriet Elizabeth 'Eliza' Sherwin on 28 Oct. 1869. They had three children. We first found him in a Book Titled: "Seven Generations of the descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase", compiled by John Carroll Chase and George Walter Chamberlain, ISBN:0-89725-038-9. on page 366, Ref. #2167. As of today, 1/24/2014, we are still looking for Clinton's parents & brother's burial place. My husband is a 5th Cousin to Clinton. If someone can show a closer relationship we will gladly transfer the memorial.
