Funeral services for Earl R. Holt of 3605 Dartmouth, a wholesale merchandiser and owner of a men's clothing store in Dallas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Geo. H. Brewer Funeral Chapel. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Holt, who died here Wednesday, was a native of Sturgis, Ky., and had lived in Dallas since 1933.
He had been president of the Sturgis Kiwanis Club and a post commander of the American Legion in Kentucky, and was a member of the Highland Baptist Church of Dallas.
Following his retirement a year ago as a wholesale merchandiser, he owned and operated Holt Men's Shop on Knox Street.
Survivors: Wife; a son, John Earl Holt of Dallas; two sisters, Miss Lila Holt and Miss Mamie Holt , of Sturgis, Ky., and three brothers, Leslie Holt, Lawrence Holt and Robert Holt of Sturgis.
