Billie Calvin, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away January 20, 2014. She was born August 25, 1924 to the late Phillip E. and Inez Buchanan Rech.
Billie was a graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School. She married James Calvin, and he preceded her in death April 7, 1998.
Billie was employed with Walker Research for many years, and was a past member of Sigma Delta Tau Sorority. She loved her dogs, traveling, knitting, music & dancing, bowling and spoiling her cherished grandchildren.
Billie is survived by her daughters, Lynne Gish (Ron) and Jacque Eickman (John); grandchildren, Lisa Kitchens (Jeff), Wendy Gish, Julie Hernandez (Andy) and Jennifer Booth (Jason); and nine great-grandchildren.
Services entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
